The Phi Phi islands are among the most attractive destinations in Thailand. Since there is no airport on the islands, the best way to get there is by ferry from Phuket.

The Phi Phi islands are known for their natural beauty with emerald bays, sandy beaches and karst limestone rocks rising from the sea. Most famous is Maya Bay where the movie “The Beach” was filmed.
The islands have some of the best scuba diving spots in the country.

The Phi Phi islands are located in the Andaman Sea between Phuket and Krabi on the mainland. Distance from Phuket is nearly 50 kilometers. It takes the ferry about two hours from Rassada pier in Phuket to Ao Tonsai pier on the Phi Phi islands.
Multiple ferry ships are in service, there are several departures per day.

Departure & arrival pier
The ferries depart from Rassada pier on the outskirts of Phuket Town. Please arrive at Rassada pier at least 30 minutes before scheduled ferry departure time.
Arrival is at Ao Tonsai pier on Koh Phi Phi Don, the largest of the Phi Phi islands.
