Modern shopping center in Patong

Jungceylon Shopping Center in the heart of Patong has something for everyone. Apart from the shops and eateries, there is an indoor playground for kids, a cinema complex, a bowling alley, a games arcade and even a small brewery.

If you want to get out of the hot sun for a while, try a relaxing massage or have a coffee or ice cream in the shopping center in walking distance from Patong Beach.

Boutique shops & stalls

Dozens of boutique shops sell cosmetics, perfumes, sun glasses, clothing and accessories, mobile phones, DVD’s and other products. Both Thai and international brands as Levi’s and Ray-Ban are on offer. Lots of local vendors sell souvenirs and knick-knacks from market like stalls.

Cinema & bowling alley

Go to the third floor for some entertainment away from the beach. Watch a movie at SF Cinema City that has five cinemas or go bowling at SF Strike bowling alley that has sixteen lanes.

Supermarket & department store

Go to the large Big C Supermarket for clothing, pharmacy products and both local and imported groceries and fruit. Robinson Department Store sells fashion, fashion accessories, groceries and fruits, pharmacy products and much more.

Food, drinks & ice creams

There is plenty to eat and drink at several dozen restaurants, coffee shops, bars and ice-cream parlors in Jungceylon shopping mall. The food court on the basement floor has a wide variety of Thai, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Italian dishes at low prices.

Full Moon Brewery

Jungceylon has its own micro brewery, the Full Moon Brewery, just behind the junk boat. Try their Chalawan Pale Ale, a locally brewed draught beer. Full Moon Brewery also serves Thai food, burgers and snacks.

Entertainment for kids

Young children will have a fun time at the indoor playgrounds in Jungceylon.

Froggy’s Amusement Park
The largest indoor playground in Phuket, Froggy’s has over a hundred attractions for children of all ages. Children won’t be able to stop playing at the Kids’ playground, a 2-level rope track, roller coaster, trampoline area, virtual reality and arcade games, bumper cars, swing boat, haunted house, bungee jump and many other fun things.

Kidzoona
Kidzoona is an indoor playground with themed stations like fast food restaurant, beauty shop, cake shop, sushi restaurant and fire station where young children can act out various occupations. Kids can also play with the ball pit, slides and trampoline. To keep Kidzoona clean, socks have to be worn. At least one parent has to stay with the children. Kidzoona opens daily from 10 am until 9 pm.

Molly Fantasy
Another playground where kids can have fun with inflatable slides, a kinetic sandbox, bicycles, Lego bricks, a trampoline and a ball pit. Children can also play professions at themed stations. Socks have to be worn to keep the place clean.

There is another indoor playground nearby in Patong at The Kids Club.

Four zones

There are four zones in Jungceylon.

Silang Boulevard Zone

Go to the Silang Boulevard Zone for beauty and relaxation at “Sense of Wellness” and “Thairapy” or Thai handicrafts at “That’s Siam”. You will also find Thai and international fashion, sports stores, fast food and the Food Bazaar.

Sense of Wellness on the third floor is the place to go to pamper yourself with a spa or a relaxing Thai massage.

Thairapy
Thairapy on the basement floor is all about beauty and relaxation. Shop for spa and wellness products like aromatherapy, skin care products, Thai herbal products, massage oils and hair care products to take home.

That’s Siam
Go to That’s Siam on the basement floor to shop for Thai souvenirs. Over 200 boutiques sell art and handicrafts from every region of Thailand.

Food Bazaar
The place in Jungceylon for street food. Try Thai street food like noodle soup, papaya salad and sticky rice, fried rice or a curry. International options include Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Indian.

The Port

The Port consists of an outdoor area covered by a canopy and a large pond with a twenty meter Chinese junk sailing boat. Every day at 5 pm and 7 pm you can watch the Musical Fountain, a water fountain show with lights and music. A mini movie is projected on the water screen.

Sino Phuket

This zone is themed in the style of old Phuket Town with its Sino Portuguese shop houses. It has Thai and international cuisine, pool bars and wine bars.

Go to old Phuket Town to see the real Sino Portuguese shophouses and mansions.

Phuket Square

Both Robinson Department Store and the Big C supermarket are in the Phuket Square zone.

There is also entertainment like a bowling alley, cinemas and karaoke, Molly Fantasy and Kidzoona indoor amusement playgrounds and IT island, for among others mobile phones and accessories.

Opening hours

Jungceylon Shopping Center opens daily from 10 am until 10 pm.
Robinson Department Store from 11 am until 10 pm.
Big C Supermarket from 9 am until midnight.
SF Cinema City from 11 am until 11 pm.

Location

Jungceylon is located at Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road in the center of Patong. The main entrance is opposite Bangla Road.

How to get there

You can get to Jungceylon by local bus or tuk tuk.

If you’re on Rat-U-Thit Road you can flag down a local bus. Buses are open and not air conditioned. There is no timetable.

Otherwise, look for a tuk tuk, a small version of a songthaew with benches in the back. Depending on where you start from, a ride to Jungceylon will cost about 200 Baht. Agree on the price before getting in.
