Kiteboarding or kitesurfing is a great sport for anyone who likes the speed, the excitement and the feeling of freedom that comes with it.

Last but not least, learning with the schools equipment will save you wear and damage on your new kite and your instructor will be able to give you good advice on what equipment to buy depending on your body size, weight and skills.
Kiteboarding locations
Thailand has some ideal places to learn kiteboarding. The long, sandy beaches and favorable wind conditions plus the beautiful surroundings, hospitality and accommodation options make Thai beach resorts a great place to learn this sport. Currently there are IKO certified kiteboarding schools in Phuket, Koh Samui, Hua Hin, Pranburi, Pattaya, Koh Phangan and Chumphon.
Depending on the season some locations offer better wind conditions that others, apart from that it’s up to you to decide which one fits your needs best. During the months November to around March the east coast offers the best wind conditions for kitesurfing. After that, until halfway May, Hua Hin offers excellent wind conditions. A little bit to the South is Pranburi, which has a long sandy beach, ideal if you prefer a relaxed place away from the crowds.
Several kiteboarding courses offered
All schools offer lessons by IKO-certified instructors using the latest equipment.
If you are new to kiteboarding and want to kiteboard independently as quickly as possible, the three day beginner course is right for you. During this course you will learn the necessary theory and practice to safely and confidently kiteboard by yourself.
