How do I make a booking?
Choose a trip that you would like to make. The tour info lists itinerary, price and inclusions. Select a date, select the number of adults and children from the drop down list and click the “BOOK NOW” button. Fill out the Booking form that appears and click “BOOK”. The Booking detail screen that appears lists the details of your trip.
If your trip is available, you can make payment by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or bank deposit. After we have received payment, we will email you a voucher for the trip.
Are prices per person or for the group?
The rates as listed in the tour description are for the group, unless otherwise stated.
What are the rates for children?
Check the tour rates section of your trip for details.
Is it a private or group tour?
Most of our tours are private. Check the tour rates section for details.
What if my trip is not available?
If your trip is not available on the preferred date, we will check availability for the two days following the preferred date. If your trip is available for one of those dates, we will let you know by email, phone, text message or WhatsApp message.
How do I pay for my trip?
We currently accept payment by Credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, bank deposit and cash deposit at CDM Cash Deposit Machine. Click here to view details on each payment option.
How do I receive the voucher for my trip?
As soon as we have received payment, you will receive the voucher for your trip by email. The voucher will be sent to the email address provided on the Booking screen. We can also send the voucher by text message or WhatsApp message if you prefer.
I don’t see the email with the voucher in my inbox?
A email with a confirmation of your booking and the voucher will be sent right after payment. If you do not see our email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
Will I be picked up from my hotel?
All trips include pickup and drop off from any hotel in the city where the trip starts unless otherwise stated.
What if the trip gets cancelled?
If we have to cancel a trip as a result of circumstances beyond our control such as natural disasters you will be given an option of a full refund or to re book the trip for another day.
Is lunch included? Is vegetarian possible?
Full day tours usually include lunch. Check the inclusions section for your trip to make sure. Lunch comprises of Thai food, not too spicy. If you have preferences such as vegetarian, please fill these out under “Remarks or preferences” at the bottom of the booking screen.
What kind of car is used for the transfer?
We usually use a Toyota Hiace Commuter van or similar.
Will we have a knowledgeable English speaking guide?
Most trips can be booked with or without a guide. All our guides are very knowledgable, experienced English speaking guides.
Can we have a guide who speaks German, French or another language?
For a number of tours we are able to provide a guide who speaks German, French, Chinese or another language. Check the inclusions section of your trip for details.
Can you arrange a fully tailored tour?
Yes, we can arrange tours around the country for any group size. Let us know where you want to go.
Is the information that I provide safe?
Yes, our website is secure. Check the Google address bar. If the address looks like https://www.renown-travel.com you are using a secure connection. The “s” in https stands for secure, which means data sent back and forth is encrypted.
