MBK Center
MBK Center (Mah Boon Krong) in the Siam area is a busy shopping center with a market feel. On its seven floors you will find about 2,000 shops, dozens of restaurants and various entertainment including cinemas, a bowling alley and a 3D Trick Art Museum.
While MBK is not as glitzy and upmarket as neighboring Siam Paragon and Central World, prices are lower. Like at outdoor markets it is often possible to get a discount after some bargaining and haggling, especially if you buy more than one item.
Market feel
While there are several large stores on the lower floors, the upper floors have the feel of an indoor market with air-conditioning.
Countless stalls and small shops seem to have been cramped in every corner, nook and cranny. Vendors sell mainly fashion and fashion accessories, beauty products, electronics, jewelry, souvenirs, handicrafts, shoes, handbags, phones, DVD’s, cameras and gadgets.
The upper floors are a good place to try your bargaining skills. You will often be able to get a discount if you buy several items.

The 6th floor houses a large and cheap food court with a choice of Thai, Japanese and Western food.
More restaurants and entertainment on the 7th floor. Here you will find a bowling alley, SF Cinema City and a Trick Art Museum, where you can pose in art works painted on the floors and walls and have fun taking silly pictures.
Luggage can be left at the free luggage deposit on the 6th floor.
After shopping try a Thai massage on the 5th floor.
