Along the 15 kilometer route the River Star Princess boat travels on the river, you will get to see modern high rise condominium buildings and luxury hotels as well as famous historical sites as the Grand Palace and the Wat Arun, beautifully illuminated after dark.

There is music and dance on both decks of the River Star Princess cruise ship. A live music band plays modern songs, while dancers present several cultural performances.
Thai classical dance
With slow and elegant moves young girls dressed in very colorful, beautifully adorned dress perform classical Thai dance accompanied by music played on traditional instruments.
Khon masked dance
The Khon masked dance performance tells a story from the Ramakien, the Thai version of the famous Indian epic the Ramayana. Through elegant expressions made with hands, fingers, feet and body dancers express the emotions of the scene. The story is about the battle of good versus evil.

Many of Bangkok’s historical and modern landmarks are on the nearly 15 kilometers route the River Star Princess travels on the Chao Phraya river.
Bangkok’s most famous sites
One of the most impressive sites is the beautifully lit up Wat Arun, also known as the temple of Dawn. On the other side of the river is Bangkok’s most famous site, the Grand Palace and next to it the Wat Pho, the temple of the Reclining Buddha.
Temples & churches
Other beautiful sites are temples as Wat Kalayanamitr and Wat Rakang, Chinese shrines and churches from early European settlements in Bangkok such as the Portuguese Santa Cruz Church and Holy Rosary Church.
Other historical sites on the route include the Royal Barges Museum and Phra Sumen fort.
Modern landmarks
Among the modern sites are the beautifully illuminated Rama VIII bridge, luxury riverside hotels as the Millennium Hilton, the Shangri-La and the Mandarin Oriental and Asiatique the Riverfront with its very tall Ferris wheel.
Dinner
The nicely presented buffet has something for everyone’s taste. There is a wide variety of food options including Thai, Japanese and international dishes with soups, main dishes, desserts and fresh Thai fruits.
Among the many items in the buffet are Tom Yum Goong, green curry, fried rice with pork, fried chicken, fish, grilled chicken, sushi, spicy grilled pork salad and fresh seasonal fruits. After dinner try a few Thai sweets and desserts, like mango sticky rice or some cake.
Water is free, other drinks are not included.

Yodpiman River Walk is located on Soi Thai Klang in the old city, just behind Pak Khlong Talat flower market.
How to get to the pier
Get there by Chao Phraya river express boat. Take an orange flag boat and get off at pier N6 Memorial Bridge. From there, it is a short walk to the pier.
Alternatively, take a metered taxi or a tuk tuk.
